Since the inception of the California Perfume Company (CPC) web site in February 2002, my vision has remained resolute: that this humble web site would serve as the veritable encyclopedia of "all things" related to the California Perfume Company and early-Avon (chronicles, people, products, collector's helps, etc.) This is no easy task that can simply be accomplished by one person. This web site requires, even demands, the support--non-monetary contributions--from the myriad of CPC and Avon collectors - diverse and unique, across this world. Working together, this web site will promote and enhance the hobby of collecting California Perfume Company and early-Avon items. More importantly, this web site will stand as a testimonial to the entrepreneurial spirit embodied in Mr. David Hall McConnell, Sr. He clearly left an indelible and enduring mark in the annuals of our proud American history.
