NOTE: The majority of the Goetting & Company products below have not been dated. The lack of catalogs, order forms, or representative sales material makes dating of the products extremely difficult, if not virtually impossible. I have tried to break the dating into one of two eras: pre-McConnell ownership - 1875 to 1896 and McConnell ownership - 1896 to probably 1918. Please remember that these dates ARE NOT firm and only represent my opinion.

Note: the key indicator used to define the dates on the perfumes above rests in the use of the "Goetting" girl label--apparently many of the items sold by Adolph Goetting were adorned with the side portrait of woman's head. the Violet perfume does not carry the classic "Goetting Girl" label design and is put up in a bottle similar to that used by the California Perfume Company during the early 1900s. This is believed to be a Goetting perfume that was manufactured and sold under the watchful eye of David H. McConnell.
