The two one-hundred share Mecca Oil Company stock certificates that surfaced in May 2010 (found immediately above and at the bottom of this web page), clearly confirm David H. McConnell's association with this oil concern as the company's president. Little is actually known about this, and some other, McConnell and Henderson business ventures. Only two documents have linked David H. McConnell to the Mecca Oil Company: 1) the following entry from the Directory of Directors in the city of New York, 1915-1916:
