Laboratory at Suffern

The toilet articles and other
preparations set forth in these pages are placed before the public with
the utmost confidence that their purity and general excellence will be
appreciated. The standing and wide experience of the manufacturers
ensures the maintenance of the highest standards.
As business growth depends largely on
merit, the growth of the California Perfume Company is interesting to
note. When the business was started only ten years ago, the office,
stock room and laboratory all combined occupied only half of a floor at
126 Chambers Street, New York. The laboratory then covered about 20 x 25
feet, or 500 square feet. The growth of the business soon
necessitated an increase of laboratory facilities until an entire floor
was occupied. This increased space soon proved inadequate to the
demands, and the laboratory at Suffern, NY, was erected. This was
built five years ago. Since then there have been two additions,
practically doubling the size of the building. The four floors now in
use make a total of about 10,000 square feet. And yet, at the present
time, the space is found inadequate to the increasing needs.
