Representative's Awards
CP Products | Depot
Managers
Almost from the outset
of the California Perfume Company, David H. McConnell used a variety of
incentives above and beyond the 40% commission rate to motivate his vast army of
representatives (known then as Depot Managers and General Agents.) Most of the
earliest awards were normal retail items: silverware, vacuum cleaners, umbrellas, lamps, and so much more...even gold coins!
As the company matured, McConnell began awarding items that were clearly
manufactured for the California Perfume Company/Avon Products , Inc. This
section introduces a variety of awards.
